Chevron, Procurement/Supply Chain Enablement Manager
Stephanie Waters serves as the Procurement/Supply Chain Enablement Manager at Chevron, where she has enabled a culture shift to focus on the end users through the use of digital concepts and agile methodologies. During her tenure at Chevron, spanning more than twenty years, she has implemented and deployed many digital change initiatives as well as served as Chair of the IT Oil and Gas Benchmark Group.

Chris Welsh has over 35 years of Information Technology, eCommerce, and Consulting experience and has been a key player in Oil & Gas eCommerce since 1995. Chris has managed numerous global projects for operators, services companies, and eCommerce networks across the globe. He was a founding member of ACT Global Consulting Ltd and has been providing strategic advice and technology architecture solutions to the Oil & Gas industry since 2000. In March 2015, Chris became CEO and Chairman of the Board of OFS Portal LLC, a global member-based group of upstream oil and gas suppliers and service providers at the forefront of oilfield eCommerce. Chris is also Chair of PIDX International and sits on the board of ConnectONCE. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computing for Commerce and Industry and he is a keen rock climber and races a Ducati super-bike in his spare time.
Schlumberger, eCommerce Manager

Rick Conner serves as the eCommerce/Business Process Manager at Schlumberger. With 17+ years of experience in applications and development, he is responsible for the management and mentoring of the eCommerce department staff, including supervision of personnel, review of analysis’s design and development, and setting team goals. He has connected energy companies via a B2B middleware application, and as a software developer, he created a B2B middeware application to electronically exchange PIDX/RNIF2.0 compliant business messages with trading partners (eInvoicing).
DTN, Senior Manager, TABS Global Implementation and Support
As a born and bred Texan, Lisa earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University in 1985 and joined Mobil Oil that same year as an accountant. She held various accounting positions until she moved to IT as an Information Architect focusing on the development of new business systems. In 1997, she joined Koch Industries as an Electronic Commerce Coordinator/Business Systems Analyst where her focus was to drive the use of electronic communication to streamline and enhance business processes. In 2000, she joined General Electric as the Product Manager for the GE PetroDex product family (PetroEx, TABS, RECON) where she remained until the product and she were acquired by DTN (now owned by Schneider Electric) in 2002. Lisa continues to champion the product suite at Schneider Electric where she is currently focused on the customers and the continued growth and success of TABS globally. She has been a participating member of PIDX for 24 years where she has held many positions.
Schlumberger, Business Process Architect – eCommerce & Invoicing
Darren Ebanks is a recognized expert in Electronic Commerce, Electronic Data Interchange and Business Process Development. He has been an active member of PIDX for over 27 years and has been the Chair of many subcommittees in the areas of Education, Promotion, Purchasing and participated in many others (including the development of the current XML standards). In addition, he has held many Executive Committee positions (including the Vice Chair of the organization).
As a Schlumberger Business Process Architect in eCommerce and Invoicing, Darren Ebanks uses technology as a tool to meet the demanding market and never as a replacement for good business practices. Crafting business processes to realize tangible monetary benefits for his organization and customers is his mantra.
Baker Hughes, a GE Company, EDI Project Manager
Chair, PIDX Standards & Guidelines Committee
Trish Nguyen is the EDI Project Manager at Baker Hughes, a GE Company. She has a strong background in eCommerce projects from start to go-live, with experience managing a wide range of implementations, including EDI invoicing solutions, eInvoicing and Accounts Payable solutions utilizing Oracle Applications, eBilling integration platform utilizing SAP, and EAI/B2B integration between enterprise resource applications. Trish has been an active participant in the PIDX Business Messages Work Group and she is currently Chair of Standards & Guidelines (S&G), the committee responsible for overseeing PIDX standards work groups and project teams.
Enverus, Vice President, Operations
Chair, PIDX International Business Development Committee
Jeff has worked in the Oil & Gas industry for over 20 years in various support and leadership roles, including accounting, services, sales, and product management. Jeff’s background began at Occidental Petroleum Corporation (OXY) where he was involved in Joint Interest Billing, Managerial Reporting and served as a Financial Analyst for the Global Supply Chain department. Jeff also spent time with Offshore International Group as their Senior Accountant and International liaison managing all accounting and procurement activity for its Peru operations.
Jeff joined Enverus in 2006 as a Project Manager earning roles with increasing responsibility culminating in his appointment to VP of Operations in 2019. He is responsible for the leadership and direction of several departments including Project Implementations, Technical Integrations, Supplier Onboarding, Client Advisory Services, Virtual Admin, and Supplier Account Management.
Jeff has been involved in some capacity with PIDX since 2003 by identifying, implementing, and testing various formats associated with invoice standards. Enverus reached a milestone in 2003 by assisting with completion of the first PIDX XML invoice transaction. Since then, Jeff’s team works with more than 600 suppliers and more than 300 operators that transact by using the PIDX Standards for not only invoices but also purchase orders, invoice responses, and the PIDX Field Ticket. His team is also actively involved in the JSON REST Field Ticket API Project. Jeff currently serves as chair of the International Business Development Committee focused on developing international outreach events to promote, influence and educate for further global adoption of PIDX standards.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Houston Baptist University.

Yvonne currently serves as the Marketing Manager at OFS Portal, overseeing the creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements and the planning and execution of annual events/conferences. Prior to OFS Portal, Yvonne planned and managed all major firm events at RSM US, LLP (formerly McGladrey LLP), worked as a copywriter for The Houston Chronicle and was an associate producer at Fox News 26 for their 5pm and 9pm newscasts. Yvonne received a BA in Journalism, News-Editorial from Baylor University. She is currently a member of PIDX’s IBDC, Baylor Women’s Association, American Marketing Association, and the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation’s Young Professionals Group.
Chevron, Team Lead, Data Science Analytics
Chair, PIDX Strategic Initiatives Committee
Rachel Shaffer is Team Lead of Data Science Analytics in the Modeling & Analytics Center of Excellence in Chevron’s Information Technology Company (ITC). Her team delivers data science solutions and brings value to Chevron’s midstream, downstream, and corporate functions. She previously led Chevron’s workforce analytics center of excellence, where she delivered workforce analysis that influenced HR decisions and people strategy. Prior to that, Shaffer was a data scientist in Chevron’s Information Technology Company. Shaffer also has worked in application lifecycle management for Chevron’s Downstream businesses in retail and lubricants. Shaffer holds a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering Operations Research from University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
OFS Portal LLC, Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration
Serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO of OFS Portal, Mimi’s responsibilities involve financial reporting, budgeting, and management of electronic data agreements which are integral to the operation of OFS Portal. She is also currently serving as deputy COO of PIDX International.
Her prior experience includes financial, accounting and tax planning services with local, regional and international public accounting firms in the US, as well as human resource and contract management services with a global natural resource mining company overseas.
She received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and a Law degree from University of Houston Law Center. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner.
