Iris Salinas is an energy leader that excels in the execution of sales,
sourcing, and B2B projects in the O&G. Iris has been recognized as top 2015 Women in Technology, received the 2013 Bronze Performed by Schlumberger Award and the 2016 Eureka Award for outstanding contributions to the Women community. Iris has studied and worked in 4 different countries. Iris has over 14 years of experience in Oil and Gas. She started in an international role for Schlumberger in Mexico and Central America, as Procurement Manager; then worked for Well Services Latin America, then held different positions as Global Supplier Manager in Category Management and currently is in eCommerce as Engagement Manager within and IT. Iris is passionate about empowering women, she served for two years as Global Leader of Schlumberger Connect Women Network. During her tenure the Connect Women Network more than doubled to over 7,900 members, becoming one of the largest networks of its kind in Energy. System Engineering and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from IESE Business School, ranked top 5 school globally according to the Economist

Chris Welsh

Chris Welsh has over 35 years of Information Technology, eCommerce, and Consulting experience and has been a key player in Oil & Gas eCommerce since 1995. Chris has managed numerous global projects for operators, services companies, and eCommerce networks across the globe. He was a founding member of ACT Global Consulting Ltd and has been providing strategic advice and technology architecture solutions to the Oil & Gas industry since 2000. In March 2015, Chris became CEO and Chairman of the Board of OFS Portal LLC, a global member-based group of upstream oil and gas suppliers and service providers at the forefront of oilfield eCommerce. Chris is also Chair of PIDX International and sits on the board of ConnectONCE. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computing for Commerce and Industry and he is a keen rock climber and races a Ducati super-bike in his spare time.

Phil Rapatz
Halliburton, Senior IT Director

Phil Rapatz is Senior IT Director of Halliburton IT Applications Services and is responsible for support and new development for all Halliburton corporate systems worldwide. He has more than 30 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, including operational and technology roles spanning the O&G value chain across exploration, upstream, downstream, and marketing and distribution as well as enterprise IT.
Phil’s current responsibilities include supporting all Enterprise Business Processes; HR, Payroll, Order to Cash, Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing, Business Development, Legal and Engineering. He is currently driving strategic technology initiatives within Halliburton such as migration to SAP S/4, adoption of Agile and Dev/Sec/Ops, Cloud Migration and Cloud Application Services and Design.
Phil joined Halliburton in 2012 as Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations. Previously, he was IT Senior Manger of Digital Oil Field Production Management systems and Global Commodity Trading Systems Senior Manager at Chevron. He also served as Director of IT Technical Architecture and Refinery Systems Integration at Tesoro Petroleum. He holds a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in physics from the University of Victoria, Canada, and a master’s degree (MScE) in engineering from the University of New Brunswick, Canada.

Aparna Kakani

Aparna Kakani is a passionate and result oriented technology leader and business partner with over 17+ years of progressive experience. Aparna has delivered transformational solutions enabled by process improvement and technology. She has extensive experience in implementing digital solutions across commercial, marketing and services segments in companies across industries: Oil & Gas, Utilities, Aviation, Consulting and Industrial. Aparna likes to consistently seek progressive challenges and opportunities with an emphasis on capturing end customer voice, delivering business KPIs and improving organizational performance. Aparna has held a variety of positions during her 9 year tenure with Baker Hughes starting as a project manager. In her current role, she is responsible for leading portfolio rationalization of Digital Customer Experience products, technology platforms standardization and consolidation, driving product adoption and, defining the strategic roadmap and delivering solutions for a suite of digital customer experience products driving revenue. Aparna has a bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, and, she lives in Houston with her husband and 2 kids. She is a strong ally of the employee resource groups promoting diversity & inclusion and, likes to volunteer and support the community.

Ellen Nielsen
Chevron
Chief Data Officer
Ellen is currently the Chief Data Officer of Chevron and is responsible for making data accessible and trusted throughout the enterprise to enable better decision making and value creation. She joined Chevron in mid of 2018 as General Manager of Category Management in supply chain and was responsible for providing leadership to improve sourcing strategies, organizational capabilities and supplier relationship management.
During her nearly 30-year career, Ellen worked in IT and procurement/supply chain in numerous industries including IT, automotive, FMCG and recently in Oil & Gas in senior and executive roles with companies like Henkel, Hewlett-Packard, GE CompuNet and Siemens.
She began her career as an IT System Engineer in Germany and has served in multiple leadership roles of increasing responsibility as global director and vice president in procurement, as regional CIO and head of Shared Services for Americas.
Ellen has led international teams in fast moving, disrupted industries; transformed processes, shared services and IT organizations; managed multiple acquisition integrations, company-wide digital transformations and improved business results by significant value creation.
She is recognized as a change agent with an ever-learning mindset and cultivates business relationships focused on teamwork and strong collaboration in global organizations. Ellen strongly believes diversity & inclusion is paramount to better performance.
Ellen is member of the Customer Advisory Board of Amazon Business and of the Executive Advisory Board ISM Houston. In Chevron she is Advisory Board Member of the largest employee network in Houston.
She holds a degree of IT engineering and is an avid golfer, hiker and very interested in news, podcasts & documentaries.

Shawn Green
ConocoPhillips, Manager
Global Services and Technology
Shawn Green is Manager, Global Services and Technology for ConocoPhillips. His current focus is development of strategies and initiatives to increase business automation as well as identification of efficiencies to streamline both business and supply chain process. He is also accountable for leading global teams that provide master data management, transactional processing, process improvement and eCommerce enablement.
Previously he served as Global Shared Services Director, Lower 48 Transactional Excellence Director, Requisition to Pay Project Implementation Manager and before that was on International assignment where he served as Supply Chain Manager for the Western Canada Region. He has also held positions in strategic sourcing, business development, technology commercialization and strategic planning including Supply Chain Director for EagleFord shale development.
Prior to joining ConocoPhillips in 2006, Shawn held a variety of positions at Marathon and ExxonMobil in project procurement management, category management/supplier relationship management, process engineering, technology, operations, business management and strategic planning.
In his spare time, Shawn volunteers for many community service organizations. He is a graduate of Leadership Houston and is a volunteer for Junior Achievement. He has also serves on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council.
Shawn received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Tulane University as well as an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Management.

Miguel Munoz
SLB, Data Owner
Market to Cash Operations Systems
Miguel Munoz is currently the Data Owner for the Operations Systems and Digital Products that enable the Market to Cash process in SLB; from the early leads capture, to the job planning and execution, through the billing and receivables management. Closely collaborating with the Process and Digital Products Owners, his role includes the governance over the data strategy, the data model, data security, master data and data integrations.
With 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Miguel has held various roles across Field Operations, HR-Training & Development, Engineering & Manufacturing, and IT.
Miguel graduated with “Excellence Honorable Mention” from the “Tecnológico de Monterrey” in 2003 with a BS degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
