PIDX International Updates to the PIDX Procedures for Standards Development
On June 17, 2021, revisions to the PIDX Procedures for Standards Development were approved by the PIDX Board of Directors.
As a standards development organization, PIDX is dedicated to reducing costs and improving efficiencies by developing standards that benefit the entire industry. PIDX standards are developed following rigorous, clear, and transparent processes. The structure of the development processes were designed by PIDX based on globally accepted standards development methodologies.
In Fall 2020, the PIDX Procedures for Standards Development was reviewed by PIDX Staff. A summary of the proposed revisions to the manual are shown below. The PIDX Standards and Guidelines Committee (S&G), Executive Committee, and PIDX Members voted on proposed revisions to the manual and the Board approved the revisions.
